Hi, I’m Shani, and I’m a family photographer based in Fort Collins, and serving Northern Colorado. Whether you’re looking to capture the chaos, the cuddles, or the quiet moments in between, I’m here to turn your family’s story into beautiful, lasting images.

Photography started as a creative outlet while raising my kid—and over time, it has became so much more. After years in the corporate world as an architect, I knew I wanted something different once I had kids. I wanted flexibility, creativity, and a chance to do meaningful work for others. That’s how this journey began, and I haven’t looked back!

I love natural, connection-filled family sessions that feel more like play than posing. Whether we’re at your home, in your favorite park, or chasing golden hour in a field somewhere, my goal is to make you feel comfortable and capture you just as you are. Although families are my primary subject these days, I also enjoy photographing newborns, maternity sessions, couples and engagement sessions!

This blog is where I’ll be sharing a little bit of everything—from recent photo sessions and client stories to tips on preparing for your shoot (yes, outfit ideas included!).
